Description of Project:
This project will apply machine learning and statistical learning methods to both classify conductance data and predict the conductance of designer DNA strands.
Suited for students with an interest in scientific computation and machine learning.

Requirements:
- Students should be familiar with Python and must have access to decent machines to develop and run Python code.
- Deep interest in scientific computation and machine learning.
- Prior exposure to statistics/machine learning strongly desired.
- Student should be able to meet weekly deadlines and regular meetings with the team.
- Should not be doing more than one internship at a time.
Research Component:
If the student qualifies.
Grades:
US-resident high school students in grades 11-12 during the 2025-2026 school year.
