Description of Project:
Suited for students who want to learn about technology and science related to semiconductors and/or quantum information. Varied topics over summer.
The student will read research papers, industry documents such as white papers and books, and play a role in developing a technical document in one or more of the following areas: bionano materials / electronics / DNA Nanotechnology / GaN / AlN / SiC / Interconnects / Fabrication / Quantum mechanics/information, and related materials.
This project is part of the IEEE Nanotechnology Council Summer Internship.
Requirements:
Deep interest in Math/Physcis.
Excellent writing and/or technical drawing skills are required.
This project has weekly deadlines and requires frequent meetings with the team.
Writing and developing documents is a major component.
In cases with exceptional talent in math/physics (olympiad), the student will have an opportunity to work on problem solving using math / coding.
Research Component:
If the student qualifies.
Grades:
High school students in grades 11-12 currently residing in the USA,
Permanent Resident or US Citizens only.

** While this project is in-person, USA students with exceptional talent in Math/Physics from outside the Greater Seattle area can participate remotely.
